Liberia
SDI started exploring links in Liberia in 2008 after contact at an international conference. In 2012, SDI and YCare International began conversations about expanding the joint work started in Sierra Leone to other West African countries. Under a grant from Comic Relief, the multi-country slums project in Sierra Leone, Togo, and Liberia started. YMCA Liberia provides the technical assistance to the emerging Federation in Liberia.
