Togo
In 2012, SDI and Y Care International began conversations about expanding the joint work started in Sierra Leone to other West African countries. Under a grant from Comic Relief, the multi-country slums project in Sierra Leone, Togo, and Liberia started. The Ghana alliance has been crucial in supporting the emerging Federation in Togo which is active in 5 settlements in Lome. YMCA Togo provides technical assistance to the Federation.
